
Today, the honorable chairman of Obia south west,, iguobazuwa visited the oloyan community and ugbogui respectively for the commissioning of the solar power plant, in his speech, he said, I had the privilege of attending the commissioning ceremony of the 100 Kilowatt solar hybrid mini grid power plant in Oloyan Community, Ugbogui, Ovia South-west.
The atmosphere was electric, filled with joy and satisfaction, as community indigenes gathered to witness the culmination of this remarkable project. He urged the beneficiaries to fully utilize the benefits of this initiative, which promises to transform their lives and livelihoods.
He also extended his heartfelt gratitude to the Rural Electrification Agency (REA) for this massive investment in our local government, demonstrating their commitment to bridging the energy gap in underserved areas.



Furthermore, he emphasised that he seized the opportunity to suggest the provision of Solar Homes Systems for communities with smaller populations, acknowledging the REA's inclusive approach to rural electrification.
